PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel printer which can solve or make almost inconspicuous the banding phenomenon caused by the flight deflection phenomenon, and to provide a printer controlling program, a printer controlling method, an apparatus for generating data for printing, a program for generating data for printing and a method for generating data for printing. SOLUTION: The printer 100 includes an image data acquiring part 10 which acquires M-value image data (M≥3), a part 11 for generating data for printing which generates the data for printing so as to print an image of the image data to a printing medium (for example, a printing paper) at a printing part 13 to be described later by processing the acquired M-value image data to N-value data processing (M>N≥2) and also carrying out an error diffusion processing with the use of a special error diffusion matrix for avoiding banding to image data corresponding to nozzles related to the banding phenomenon, and a printing part 12 which prints the image of the image data to the printing medium by an inkjet system on the basis of the data for printing.
