PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element material which shows high emission efficiency by suppressing concentration quenching, improves solubility of an iridium complex, and can be applied to application system organic EL. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element has a light emitting layer comprising at least a phosphorescent luminescence complex which is sandwiched between an anode and a cathode.
