PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed coaxial cable in which a foamed insulator layer having a foaming degree of 80% or more is stably and certainly foamed and which has few attenuation amount at high frequency band (1MHz or more). SOLUTION: This is a foamed coaxial cable in which a foamed insulator layer made of ethylene-propylene copolymer or a mixture of ethylene-propylene copolymer and polyethylene which is made using a capillary ofϕ2.095×8.03 mm, with a piston speed of 10 mm/min, furnace casing diameter of 9.55 mm, and taking over acceleration of 400 m/min<SP>2</SP>, and has a melting tension at fracture measured with capillary rheometer at 190°C of 5.0g or more, and a melt mass flow rate at 190°C, 2.16 Kg of 1.0 g/10 min or more, is provided on an inner conductor so that the degree of foaming may be 80% or more. Thereby, the foamed insulator layer having 80% or more of foaming degree can be formed stably and certainly on the inner conductor, and the coaxial cable obtained has few attenuation amount at high frequency band (1 MHz or more) and is superior.
