PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration system for facilitating calibration work performed on a device used for detecting and diagnosing vibration, etc. of a rotary machine, while performing calibration acurately in a short time. SOLUTION: When a signal is given to an amplifier 23, the signal being output in cases where a vibration pickup detects a reference vibration generated by a reference vibration table, a comparison circuit 29 compares the level of an output signal of an amplifying circuit 27 based on a reference signal with the level of a reference voltage from a reference voltage generating circuit 28. According to the result of the comparison, a control circuit 32 causes an amplification ratio setting circuit 34 to control the amplification ratio of the amplifying circuit 27 so as to equalize the levels of the two signals with each other, and to control it so as to maintain an amplification ratio set at a time point when the levels of the two are determined to be substantially equalized with each other.
