PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive polymer giving a crystal structure, crystallite size and/or crystallinity, having two-dimensional conductive path favorable for carrier mobilization. SOLUTION: The electroconductive polymer has a structure represented by general formula (1), wherein the ratio of weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to number-average molecular weight (Mn) (Mw/Mn) is≤1.3, molecular weights are measured by gel permeation chromatography and expressed in terms of polystyrene, and the ratio of 2,5'- bond to bond of adjoining thiophene ring is≥95%.
