PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head which can positively remove foreign matter intruding into an ink feeding channel, and minimizes an influence of a filter for removing the foreign matter intruding in the ink, caused by fluid resistance, to thereby stably eject ink from nozzles even when ink ejection is carried out simultaneously from the number of channels. SOLUTION: The recording head 3 is comprised of the filter 24 which is arranged at a communication portion of a common ink channel 29 and a diaphragm 16 for applying ejection energy to the ink in individual liquid chambers 20 of the recording head 3, so as to be ejected from the nozzles 13, and has a damper portion 25 having a film thickness of 1 to 10μm. Thus the filter 24 functions to remove the foreign matter intruding into the ink feeding channel in the vicinity of each nozzle 13, and therefore clogging of the nozzle 13 due to the intruding foreign matter is prevented.
