PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool storage box which solves the following problem of a conventional power tool storage box: if a power tool is stored in the storage box with a switch lever kept in a lock-on state, it is activated at the instant of applying power source thereto in the next use, and no specific countermeasures have been taken. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the power tool storage box, when a cover 42 is placed on the storage box to cover the same, a switch change-over member 60 engages with a switch lever 55 kept in the lock-on state, and returns a lock-on button to an unlocking position.
