PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for tire mold casting in which wettability with molten metal composed of an aluminum alloy and high-temperature rigidity are improved, thus the generation of casting defects such as shrinkage cavities is reduced, and further, the shape precision of castings is improved. SOLUTION: The frame body for tire mold casting has an almost cylindrical shape, is arranged around a die 2 for a tire mold, and is used for casting the tire mold. At least the surface confronted with the die 2 for the tire mold is subjected to carburizing treatment. The suitable carburizing depth lies within the range of 1.0 to 1.5 mm.
