PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems wherein the turning range of a separative suction device is narrow and its operability when cleaning a high place is inferior in a suction device body detachably having the separative suction device. SOLUTION: This suction device is provided with the separative suction device 10 having a connecting pipe 8 vertically rotationally turning to the suction device body 5 communicated with its rear part, detachably attached to the suction device body 5 and, when attached to the suction device body 5, communicated with the suction device body 5. When the separative suction device 10 is attached to the suction device body 5, the range of the connecting pipe 8 rotationally turning in the vertical direction of the suction device body 5 is defined from an angle approximately perpendicular to the upper side of the horizontal plane of the suction device body 5 to an angle approximately perpendicular to the lower side of the horizontal plane. When the suction device body 5 is held up, the connecting pipe rotationally turns downward up to 90°, so that a user can easily ground the bottom of the suction device body 5 on the horizontal plane in the high plate by just holding up the suction device body 5 so as to easily clean the high place without using a step.
