PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curving device of an endoscope which has excellent durability, by which a period until total overhaul is long without breaking a wire guide for guiding a curving operation wire arranged in a curving direction having a large maximum bend angle even by the use of a short period of time. SOLUTION: As the wire guide 8U for inserting and guiding the curving operation wire 7U arranged in the curving direction where a curving part 2 has the largest maximum bend angle, a tubular material having a strength higher than that of a wire guide 8D arranged in a curving direction where the curving part 2 has the smallest maximum bend angle is used.
