PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the entire suction of the stored water in a water storage tank by a feed water pump in a dishwasher which sucks the water stored beforehand in the water storage tank by the feed water pump and supplies it to a washing chamber to be accumulated. SOLUTION: In the feed water pump 24 disposed at the back of the water storage tank 22, a motor shaft 241 of a motor 240 faces vertically to the bottom, an impeller 242 is attached to a bottom end of the motor shaft and a flat shaped pump-room 245 is disposed to surround the impeller. The whole of the pump-room 245 is disposed at the position lower than the lowest part of the bottom 220a of the water storage tank 22, and a suction aperture 246 dispose at the bottom of the pump-room 245 and a suction pipe 248 to be connected to the water storage tank 22 are made to communicate through a suction tube section 247. In this configuration, the pump-room 245 is filled with water until the remaining water in the water storage tank 22 becomes almost none so that the pumping action can be executed smoothly.
