PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool for fishline capable of simply and surely retaining a wound fishline. SOLUTION: This spool for the fishline 10 is equipped with a core 12 and flanges 13 and 14. A fishline-holding part 15 for retaining the fishline and a guide part 16 for guiding the fishline to the fishline-holding part 15 are provided in the flange 13. The fishline-holding part 15 has a pair of opposite wall surfaces 21 and 22. The guide part 16 is equipped with a stepped part 23 formed between the wall surfaces 21 and 22. The spool for fishline 10 is equipped with a subsidiary spool 11. The subsidiary spool 11 is also equipped with a fishline-holding part 35 and a guide part 36. A flange 33 of the subsidiary spool 11 is formed so as to cover the inside edge of the core 12.
