The assembly comprises a guide rail (2) with several travellers (1) fitted with connecting screws (31) for the glass panel holders (3). The glass panel holders comprise cylindrical holding rails (32) with vertical upper threaded bore (321) fixed on the connecting screw of one of the travellers. A nut (38) is fixed on the cylindrical holding rail at the top of the vertical threaded bore and engages with the screw on the traveller. Several sleeves (6) are fitted at different heights in assembly openings (42) in the glass panel and several fitting blocks (35) are fitted at different heights between the glass panel and holding rail. Fixings (5) held in the sleeves engage through the assembly openings and are held on transversely aligned threaded bores (322, 323) of the holding rail to secure the panel against same. Washers (372) on the fixings fit between the glass panel and blocks.
