<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce calorific amount of an electronic device capable of being driven under the condition, where the device is connected to a charger. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone device 1 includes an outer terminal 21 to be connected with a charger 2, a battery 22, and a power-supply control unit 23 for controlling power feeding from the outer terminal 21 and the battery 22 to a radio unit 8 and the like. The control unit 3 determines whether the outer power-supply breaking condition is satisfied; and if the outer power-supply breaking condition decided as being satisfied, the power-supply control unit 23 makes a charging transistor 31 turned off so that the power is fed from the battery 22 to the radio unit 8 and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
