<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive foamed rubber roller of low hardness useful for an electrophotographic apparatus by reducing the foaming irregularity and inner diameter irregularity of a vulcanized foamed rubber tube comprising a rubber based on an acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber, and the conductive foamed rubber roller. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the conductive foamed rubber roller formed by penetrating a case metal in the vulcanized foamed rubber tube comprising the rubber based on the acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber includes a process for extruding a rubber composition, which satisfies (1) a 10% foaming time is 0.1-1 min and a vulcanization progress ratio is 0.1-0.5% in a foaming progress ratio of 10% and (2) a 90% foaming time is 7-14 min and a vulcanization progress ratio is 85% in a foaming progress ratio of 90% in the relation between a vulcanization speed and a foaming speed, into a tube shape by an extruder and a vulcanizing and foaming process reaching a vulcanization temperature after a temperature is raised for 6-12 min at an average temperature rising speed of 2-8°C/min.
