<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetism aided processing method capable of giving a high impetus in fluctuating magnetic field and improving a processing force on a workpiece which is an object to be processed, and a magnetic tool used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetism aided processing method using the magnetic tool 11 disposed in the fluctuating magnetic field gives movement to the magnetic tool 11 by the fluctuation of the magnetic field and allows the magnetic tool 11 to be collided with the workpiece to perform processing. A magnetic tool having at least a permanent magnet material is used as the magnetic tool 11. Magnetic particles or magnetic abrasive grains 1, 3 can be attached to the pole tip with a magnetic force and other tools 4, 5 required for processing can be also bonded with a magnetic force. In addition, it is also preferable that at least a side section of the magnetic tool 11 is covered with a non-magnetic protective layer 6, and the part thereof is formed to be a pin shape having magnetic anisotropy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
