INTERIOR TRIM PART FOR AUTOMOBILE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method to form an interior trim part for an automobile on a core material 2 of which a skin 3 is laminated by setting the core material 2 on a core mold 11 and injecting thermosetting resin in a cavity 4 formed between a cavity mold 12 and the core material 2 and capable of effectively softening a desired part and restraining weight increase. SOLUTION: A clearance on one part of the cavity 4 is made large to form a thick part 6 on a part of the skin 3, and a mold on the part the clearance of which is made large is constituted into a slide mold 13. A plurality of protruded parts 14 are projected toward a cavity mold 12 on the opposite side on the slide mold 13. The slide mold 13 is made to slide in a direction to separate from the other mold after injecting, heating and hardening the thermosetting resin. Consequently, a space part 16 corresponding to the protruded parts 14 is formed on the thermosetting resin at the part of the thick part 6.
