PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel printer which can solve or make almost inconspicuous the banding phenomenon caused by the flight deflection phenomenon, and to provide a printer controlling program, a printer controlling method, an apparatus for generating data for printing, a program for generating data for printing and a method for generating data for printing. SOLUTION: The printer 100 includes a first image data acquiring part 10 which acquires first image data, a nozzle information setting part 11 which generates a nozzle setting information table in which whether or not nozzles are used is set to each pixel data of the acquired first image data on the basis of nozzle information that shows characteristics of each nozzle N, a nozzle setting information table storing part 13 which stores the nozzle setting information table, and a second image data generating part 14 which changes a pixel value of the pixel data set not to use the nozzles in the first image data to the lowest density value, and also which generates second image data by distributing the pixel value before the change to peripheral pixels.
