PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus interface for a computer including an adaptor means for adapting a plurality of devices to a computer bus. SOLUTION: An adaptor means for the bus interface includes buffer means complying with a plurality of devices for storage of data, data managers arranged for the respective buffer means for controlling data transfer between the buffer means and the computer bus, and control means arranged for the respective buffer means for controlling data transfer between the buffer means and the respective devices. The adaptor means transfers data to one of controllers used for controlling data transfer between the respective buffer means and the computer bus and data transfer between the respective buffer means and a plurality of devices.
