PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device for a communication karaoke system in which communication can be conducted with a friend who is using other karaoke box. SOLUTION: When a customer ID is inputted into a karaoke playing terminal 30 as a collating basis ID, a customer ID collating section 53 collates another customer ID which is registered to a customer ID registration section 52 being related to the collating basis ID and the customer ID of the customer who is presently using any of the karaoke playing terminals 30 and outputs as a collating result ID. A customer ID display section 54 displays the customer ID of the other party on the karaoke playing terminal 30 which is being used by the customer who has the respective collating basis ID and the collation result ID. When communication agreement commands are transmitted from both parties to a communication agreement command receiving section 55, a communication connecting section 56 connects the two karaoke terminals 30 so as to make communication possible.
