摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy having excellent strength and electrical conductivity and having reduced variation in bending workability. SOLUTION: The high-strength copper alloy has a chemical composition comprising, by mass, 0.4 to 4.5% Ni, 0.15 to 0.9% Si, 0.01 to 0.4% Mg, 0 to 2.0% Sn, 0 to 2.0% Zn, 0 to 0.3% Fe, 0 to 0.3% P, 0 to 4.0% Co and 0 to 4.0% Cr, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and preferably satisfying Si/Ni: 3.5 to 5.5, and has a metallic structure in which the density of Mg based inclusions with a particle diameter of≥0.1μm is≤30 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>.
