PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat material excellent in a cushion property, a spring property and a fabric property by eliminating the conventional sticking of a polyurethane foam or the like and adoppting an integral structure. SOLUTION: The seat material for a vehicle or the like is a knitted fabric structure composed of knitted fabrics 1 and 2 composed of many parallel knitted loop columns 3 respectively lined on the front and back at required intervals and extended in a length direction and many connecting threads 5 for connecting both knitted loop columns alternately and zigzag between the knitted loop columns 3 of the front and back knitted fabrics. Threads constituting the front surface knitted loop column of the knitted fabric structure are knitted with no strain and low tension compared to normal knitting, and structural basic weight is at least≥1,000g/m<SP>2</SP>. Many woofs 4 in an orthogonal direction are inserted to the back surface side knitted loop column, strong synthetic monofilaments excellent in elastic restorability are used for the thread connecting the front and back knitted loop columns, raising 6 is executed to the front surface side knitted fabric, and the spring property, the cushion property and the fabric property are excellent as a whole.
