PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a design simulation device for an elevator or the like more easily seen and recognized by a user. SOLUTION: When design simulation of a car of the elevator and a landing is performed, "car specification" is selected from an item selection part 11 and specification of a car ceiling, a floor or the like is determined and displayed on a car image screen 12. Similarly, "landing specification" is selected and specification of the landing is determined and displayed on a landing image screen 14. Subsequently, "installation environment" is selected and a wall and a floor of a building installed with the elevator are displayed on the landing image screen 14. Further, "illumination" is selected and adjustment of illumination of the building and the sunlight is performed, "view" is selected and height/angle for seeing the elevator is adjusted and "visual recognition" is selected and how to see visually impaired person is displayed in false.
