When RDI is present in a VOBU, and when a sequence code is not present in the VOBU, the reading of the first sector of the succeeding VOBU is repeated. When RDI is not present in a VOBU, or when a sequence code is present in the VOBU, the RTR_VMGI is created, the number of recorded titles that are saved is compared with the number of titles obtained when the supply of power has been recovered. Until there are no more following titles, reproduction of the LBNs at the title head is repeated. And when there are no more following titles, the RTR_VMGI is written to the optical disk.
