PHOTOCATALYST AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst the capacity of which for cleaning air or water and the capacity of which for decomposing a toxic substance are made excellent by using a technique for improving functions of the photocatalyst such as titanium dioxide.

SOLUTION: The photocatalyst is manufactured by applying an organic polymer bead-mixed photocatalyst-containing coating liquid to a base material and heat-treating the coating liquid-applied base material. The photocatalyst has a pore capable of transmitting the light having the wavelength necessary for a photocatalytic reaction.
