<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus with good insertability, which enables an endoscope insertion part to be smoothly and easily inserted into a depth side while observation is performed without the narrowing of a visual field for observation, when the endoscope insertion part is inserted into a bent subject. <P>SOLUTION: A connector part 14 at the base end of the endoscope insertion part 2, the leading end 11 of which is provided with an observational optical system etc., and the outer peripheral surface of which is integrally provided with a propelling pipe 15 composed of a spirally shaped part 36, is disconnectably connected to an insertion-part holding part 16 of a rotator 3 with a built-in motor for rotation. The endoscope insertion part 2, which is inserted into a patient 8, is passed through an insertion guide part 9. Thus, the amount of rotation in the axial direction of insertion is detected by a built-in sensor, and a rotational speed, at which the endoscope insertion part 2 is rotated, is automatically set at an appropriate value by a motor control circuit in the rotator 3, depending on an insertion length computed via an insertion-length computing circuit 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
