<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook-sized computer device capable of taking out light from a light source such as a cold cathode-ray tube irradiating a liquid crystal display and using it as a light source for irradiating a keyboard. <P>SOLUTION: This notebook-sized computer device 1 has the liquid crystal display 2 and the keyboard 4. The notebook-sized computer has: a light guide plate 6 disposed on the rear face of the liquid crystal display 2, irradiating the liquid crystal display; the light source 7 disposed on a lower side face of the light guide plate 6, making the light incident into the light guide plate 6; a case body 8 covering the light source 7 from three directions except an upper direction; and a plurality of light guide tubes 10 installed in a bottom part or both side face parts of the case body 8, taking out the light source inside the case body.
