<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an H-section steel shape measuring method for measuring the lengthwise shape (a bend or camber) of an H-section steel while it is traveling on a rolling line. <P>SOLUTION: The H-section steel 10 on the move is measured over a prescribed calculation section by using a pair of distance sensors C1 and C2 disposed in a horizontal direction or a pair of distance sensors B1 and B2 disposed in a vertical direction.
