PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communications apparatus, a wireless communications system and a wireless communication method which can realize both improvement in power effect and prevention of throughput reduction, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: The wireless communications apparatus is provided with a radio unit 288, which switches a power control method by taking the statistics of history of time information of received data frames, and discriminating whether traffic is periodic (stream) or continuous (burst) from the statistic result, notifies a power management state, by sending a dedicated frame when shifting into an initiated state or a power saving state, prevents the throughput from deterioration by waiting a frame, while keeping the initiated state for a certain fixed period of time, immediately after the transfer of a data frame in the case of burst traffic, and changes beacon interval, by linking with an access point AP at stream traffic.
