PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a liquid crystal display device that makes it easy and secure to electrically connect a connection terminal on the inspection device side to a connection terminal on an FPC side. SOLUTION: A relaying FPC 23 which can be connected to the liquid crystal display device 10 is detachably mounted on a jig portion 21 of the inspection device 20, and provided with a connection terminal 28 which can be connected to the connection terminal 30 on the side of the inspection device 20, and a clamp device 33 is provided which connects the connection terminal 28 of the relaying FPC 23 to the connection terminal 30 on the side of the inspection device 20 by pressing in the relaying FPC 23 mounted on the jig portion 21 of the inspection device 20 via an elastic pressing member 39. At least one of the connection terminal 30 on the side of the inspection device 20 and the connection terminal 28 of the relaying FPC 23 is provided with dummy terminals 28a and 30a on both sides of the connection terminal.
