PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid for an electrophoretic display having high contrast on the display screen, in particular, high white reflectance, and achieving contrast display with high reliability, as well as having excellent in low-voltage driving property and a faster response speed, and to provide a display medium and a display apparatus using the liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid for an electrophoretic display contains at least an alkyl polyether amine having a specified structural unit, resin particles colored with a dye and/or a pigment, white titanium oxide particles and a dispersion liquid medium. The electrophoretic display medium contains the above liquid for an electrophoretic display encapsulated in microcapsules or cells each in an independent structure. The electrophoretic display apparatus has a pair of substrates at least one of which has a light transmitting electrode fabricated, and the electrophoretic display medium held between the substrates.
