PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having a high maximum density, little fog, a good cold black tone as a silver tone and excellent image storage stability. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has on a support an image forming layer containing a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a silver halide, a silver ion reducing agent and a binder, wherein at least one kind of the silver ion reducing agent is a compound represented by formula (1) and the heat developable photosensitive material contains a compound (leuco dye) represented by formula (2).
