PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic silver salt dispersion having good dispersibility and to allow a heat developable photosensitive material manufactured using the dispersion to exhibit low fog and high density image properties. SOLUTION: The organic silver salt dispersion is obtained by dispersing in a solvent a non-photosensitive organic silver salt and a resin for dispersion thereof, wherein the non-photosensitive organic silver salt has an average particle diameter of 50-600 nm, the resin for dispersion is a polyvinyl acetal resin, and the organic silver salt dispersion contains no photosensitive silver halide grain.
