PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which a liquid crystal panel and a back light unit are mutually fixed without using an adhesive nor an adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with a liquid crystal panel 1 which has liquid crystal filled in between a couple of glass plates 11, the back light unit 2 supporting the opposite surface side of the liquid crystal panel 1 from a display surface 13, a front frame 3 which is fixed to the back light unit 2 to expose the display surface 13 of the liquid crystal panel 1 to the outside and cover a non-display portion 14 of the liquid crystal panel 1, and an elastic frame 4 which is clamped between the non-display portion 14 and front frame 3 of the liquid crystal panel 1 to press the non-display portion 14 against the back light 2.
