PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling unit capable of reducing costs by commonly using a structure and components in both of an off-cycle method and a hot-gas method without largely changing a structure from a conventional one. SOLUTION: In this cooling unit, a hot gas pipe 33 is mounted inside of a resin drain pan 31, and a copper plate 34 is mounted in the hot gas pipe 33. As a defrosting operation can be executed within a deformation temperature of a heat insulating member supporting the resin drain pan, a drainage path and a drain pan, the components used in the off-cycle method can be used without change.
