PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely practical rain gutter bracket by which improvement in strength and manufacturability of a fitting rod part is sought, and operability of an operation handle is also improved in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The fitting rod part 3 is structured by using a tapered strip-plate. Both side-edges of the strip-plate are bent and erected to form a fitting rod part 3 having a substantially U-letter shape in cross section. A fitting plate part 13 is formed to be integrated with a base-end part of the strip-plate forming the fitting rod part 3. A front end part of the fitting rod part 3 is bent upward, and the bent front-end part is formed to have a substantially T-letter shape. Right and left engaging projections 9 at the bent front end part of the substantially T-letter shape is engaged with the fitted body 5 to fix the fitting rod part 3 to the fitted body 5 so that the fitted body 5 is hindered from moving in relation to the fitting rod part 3 in a sliding direction of the slide overlap part 4 upon rotational operation of the operation handle 7. The front-end edge of the bent front-end part of the fitting rod part 3 serves as a rotation stopper 8 hindering excessive rotation of the operation handle 7 in a manner that the operation handle 7 is brought into contact with the rotation stopper 8 when the operation handle 7 rotates in the opposite direction where pressure contact and the engagement are released.
