RESIN COMPOSITION FOR ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an adhesive which exhibits reduced discoloration and excellent adhesive strength, especially that to metals. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises: (A) a polyvinyl butyral resin which has a solution viscosity of 30 mPa s or less at 20°C when the concentration of the solid component of the resin is adjusted to 10 wt% in a mixed solvent with the weight ratio of ethanol/toluene=1/1; (B) a polyvinyl butyral resin which has a solution viscosity of 500 mPa s or more at 20°C when the concentration of the solid component is adjusted to 10 wt% in the mixed solvent with the weight ratio of methanol/toluene=1/1; (C) a resol type phenol resin; and (D) an amine hydrochloride.
