摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vegetal antibacterial material having antibiotic properties by simply treating a vegetal material having no antibiotic properties. SOLUTION: A plant body containing at least 10% lignin and a saccharide other than cellulose is given antibiotic properties by subjecting the plant body to a heat treatment with high-temperature steam of 120°C or higher.
