PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack material, capable of uniformly mixing the pack material containing an alginate with a water soluble medium containing a polyhydric alcohol or lower alcohol, further capable of being applied uniformly on a skin, peeling off finely after its use and also having a high moisture-holding property and emollient property. SOLUTION: This pack material is characterized by mixing/using a first agent obtained by blending the following (A) a water soluble alginate, (B) an alkaline earth metal salt, (C) a glucono-δ-lactone and (D) a hydrophobilization-treated inorganic powdery material, with a second agent blended with (E) 10-80 % 1 kind or≥2 kinds selected from the polyhydric alcohol and/or lower alcohol, on its use.
