PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a device caused by collision of an object other than a paper sheet to be fed with an inner wall of the device by storing paper sheets of a size other than the maximum size as the paper sheet to be fed, and preventing the object from being stored in a space to be constantly formed on a loading plate. SOLUTION: A pinion gear 25A pivotably supported by a lower end of a rear end reference plate 25 is engaged with a rack gear 21A arranged inside a loading plate 21. The rear end reference plate 25 is split into a plurality of portions which are vertically and movably connected to each other, and is vertically expandable. An upper end of a connection member 27 is pivotably supported by an upper end of the rear end reference plate 25, and a lower end of the connection member 27 is pivotably supported by a part in the vicinity of an end on the upstream side in the direction of an arrow X of the loading plate 21.
