PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with a peeler capable of surely separating a label from a layout sheet without lowering printing efficiency even in the soft label. SOLUTION: As indicated in Fig. 4, the printer 1 with the peeler is a printer for printing on label printing paper 14A of sticking the label 14c to the layout sheet 14b. The printer 1 with the peeler has a platen roller 20 for carrying the label printing paper 14A, a peeler roller 21 for separating the printed label 14c from the layout sheet 14b, a label delivery port 12 for delivering the separated label 14c, a label detector 25 for detecting the label 14c stuck to the layout sheet 14b, and a control part 60 for controlling carrying by the platen roller 20 on the basis of detection of the label 14c by the label detector 25. The control part 60 reduces a paper feeding speed of the label printing paper 14A when the tip 14d of the label 14c reaches this side of the peeler roller 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
