PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation elevator device capable of installing a protection plate by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the elevator responding to an intermediate layer base isolation building, the base isolation device 4 is provided on an intermediate part of the building and a car is lifted in the intermediate layer base isolation building having a lower layer floor 2 and an upper layer floor 3 of the building. In the base isolation elevator device, the protection plate 10 is arranged between a wall of a hoistway width-enlarged at a base isolation layer part and a car door sill of the car.
