PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing the exposure of cords at the time of cutting of a cord-containing rubber member by relaxing the shrink force of a rubber after insulation. SOLUTION: The cord-containing rubber member 10 immediately after rubber coating discharged from an insulation head 52 is heated by a far infrared heater 20 while drawing out the cord-containing rubber member 10 using a pull drum 30 to relax the shrink force of the rubber applied to the cords. By this method, the lowering of the adhesion force of the rubber to the cords is prevented to suppress the exposure of the cords at the time of cutting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
