PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking die for blanking a rolled web by pressing, which is capable of highly precisely forming the end face of a product. SOLUTION: Shearing force that a workpiece 52 receives from a punch 42 is linearly concentrated by setting a corner part 43 of a blanking face of the punch 42 to an acute angle. As a result, distortion of the workpiece 52 can be reduced. Occurrence of sagging caused by being pushed into a through-hole 50 can be prevented. Namely, it is unlikely that the surrounding workpiece 52 that is not made into a product enters the through-hoe 50 of the die 44. Consequently, a burr-like edge does not remain on the end face of a leader tape 30 formed by blanking, and also, the end face is not crushed.
