PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly constitute an automatic rice milling apparatus with a rice polishing function. SOLUTION: The automatic rice cleaning apparatus is provided with a rice milling machine (10) for milling hulled rice, a rice polishing device (11) for polishing the milled rice milled by the rice milling machine (10) and a pearling tank (13) from which polished rice that is subjected to milling treatment at the rice milling machine (10) and polishing treatment at the rice polishing device (11) is taken out. In the automatic rice milling apparatus, the rice polishing device (11) is disposed at a space near and below the rice milling machine (10) and in the vicinity of the pearling tank (13) arranged to face an operation chamber (1) so that the milled rice is polished while flowing in the rice polishing device (11) from an upper side to a lower side. Switching means (15, 18, 19) are provided between the rice milling machine (10) and the rice polishing device (11) so that the milled rice subjected to milling treatment at the rice milling machine (10) is taken out to the pearling tank (13) or the milled rice subjected to milling treatment at the rice milling machine (10) is taken out to the pearling tank (13) after polishing via the rice polishing device (11).
