PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to shut opening surfaces of right and left article storage parts of a furniture body by a sliding door with making a good show, without reducing the inner spaces of the storage parts. SOLUTION: The inside of the furniture body 2 is divided into right and left approximately at its center by an inside partition board. The sliding door 3 for selectively shutting one of the openings of the right and left article storing divisions is installed on the front edge of the furniture body 2 in such a manner that it can move from side to side at least on the front adjacent to the edge of its bottom plate 6 and two side plates 7.
