A component for receiving and/or supplying a fluid medium, consists of a pipe or container, and has an inner mantle and an outer mantle. The outer mantle supports the inner mantle, and the inner mantle (5) and/or outer mantle (6) are fixed so there is no gap between them. The component has openings and/or penetrations for inlet and outlet pipes, as well as heater penetrations (18) or flanges (23). The inner mantle consists of a primary plastic chosen from PE, PP or PB-1. The outer mantle consists of a secondary plastic chosen from PA, PPO, PPS or PPA, which are reinforced with glass-, carbon-, aramide- or natural fibres.
