A process for producing a component for receiving and/or supplying a fluid medium composed of at least one plastic material, comprises encasing the component in an inner (5) and an outer (6) mantle. One mantle is fixed inside the other, and an inner layer is supplied using a chemical and/or physical propellant, into the outer mantle. The inner and/or outer mantle consists of plastic material layers. The mantle sections are formed by press or injection moulding. The component has a sealing flange (7) at its free end, which has a screw connection. The inner mantle consists of PE,PP or PB-1, and/or the outer support mantle consists of glass-, carbon-, aramide- or natural fibre reinforced PA, PPO, PPS, or PPA.
