<p>A chassis for holding copper or optical fiber distributors, intended for fitting into a 19 inch rack, is made completely of plastics. According to its application it can contain recesses for optical fiber couplings, as well as recesses for RJ45 sockets, in its front wall. Preferably, when screening is required, the chassis body is made of metal-coated plastics material. The chassis may be molded so that it forms itself the lower half of a splice cartridge.</p> |
