<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of lightening burden imposed on a user, a maker and environments by improving workability in the case of setting or exchanging a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a plurality of image carriers carrying toner images, and further is equipped with an image carrier cassette which does not include image forming means arranged around the image carrier but has a holder attachably/detachably holding each image carrier individually, and which can be attached to/detached from an apparatus main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
